• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Shit, that's not even super star Sheriff Grady Judd. FL Sheriff's are the best.
The Sheriff said all the right things, but if the bad guy in that video had been even remotely competent, the two officers would both be dead and we'd be hearing about a manhunt in South Florida. That played out like a dark episode of Laurel and Hardy.

Barely a scratch. I'm sure it'll buff out.

Get this guy on it

If you are using Google Chrome you can download an extension called Dark Reader.
This site also has a dark version background available but I can't find it now maybe someone can help.
Thank you. I'm using the dark version here. My issue is due to antibiotic ointment blurring my vision and suture tugging keeping me from fully opening my eyes.

I think you have a burden in here to be concise and direct, and I also think you have a burden to “win people over” - which I can relate to. It’s too much to take on. You can’t understand why people are so upset about this topic (your words) - fair, but seeking answers to that in here are futile and only serve to gaslight the scenario. I’ve noticed you always have a lengthy rebuttal but then end in “we can agree to disagree”. I’d like to propose some unwarranted advice - I think that’s understood in here. That’s what makes this place awesome. We inherently can agree to disagree. And we can also say our peace and have the confidence in the peace we’ve said without further debate.

I think what would serve you best is to utilize the “shrugged shoulders” emoji. I’ve defending you and ETvol in here many times. He gets it. You’re getting there. Just be you - I’d advise to stop trying to explain yourself with such detail all the time (especially in rebuttal). You fall on swords so often, people tune out. I’m not tuning out, but most tune out.

I absolutely understood your POV on this topic and the spirit behind it. Others don’t. And it should end there. You’re taking on such huge burdens to persuade, and if you haven’t noticed it hasn’t worked, largely… Subtle is the key (my 0.02)

Unwarranted advice:

1) Be you on the initial post
2) Channel your inner ANTI-Cliff Clavin on anyone that challenges you. Pick your rebuttal battles. You say your peace. They say theirs. Boom done. Take it or leave it. People are smart enough in here to decide. So make that initial argument really count.

I’m in your corner in here, and I know that’s not popular. But I don’t care. I like the diversity of thought and true Free Speech. Many of my personal heroes were like that. I love you what you bring in here and this place would be lesser without you here… I’m 100% confident on that. Enhance your effectiveness and consider my advice…

Carry on, Patriot.
He's defended $15 minimum wage, unemployment $, the legitimacy of eviction moratoriums, among other things. He was defending Robert Reich in one thread.

His political philosophy is coming from a vastly different place than the principles you generally encounter ITT.

Devolution part 11

JoCo Kansas friends. In this devolution article it goes into CIS (Center for Internet Security) as it relates to election infrastructure and security. CIS is partnered with Crowdstrike on this. There is a link where you can see all county offices using this “service”. Johnson County KS elections office is on the list.

Do you remember someone posted the hotspots for likely election fraud a few months ago? It was based on statistics and anomalies. Something isn’t right.

I have a question for anyone that has purchased LifeLock protection:

I will preface the question with my experience and Hypothesis.

I joined LifeLock about 15 years ago. Within 6 months I received n alert that someone was attempting to open a credit card account in my name and with my SS#. It was successfully blocked and my credit was locked down. I was pleased that I had purchased the service of LifeLock.

Year after year, and without any new alerts, I have started to wonder if the first alert was fake. I wondered if Lifelock does this routinely with new customers to give them ”Buyers Affirmation “. Confirmation bias?

I have not had any alerts since that first one.

Have any of you had a similar experience?
Similar for me. Have had more alerts from credit card companies than Lifelock. I think much depends on what level of protection you are paying for. When you report that a CC company notified you and they didn't they immediately send out a claim form.

No.

Trump’s eviction moratorium didn’t get halted by the SCOTUS. That was Puddin’s moratorium 🤷‍♂️

The risk of myocarditis in males especially younger is exponentially higher in those with two vs one jab. Who knows how high it would be with a third.
