Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

On the push for the vax.... Its either to remove all control groups so negative impacts aren't so obvious or it's so that if it weakens immune response in further variants they remove all control groups so negative groups aren't so obvious.

Religious exemptions in the GOAT Florida are honored for school kids. Actually, the schools themselves don’t give a fuck. They are just the custodians of the paperwork. They could give two shits about who is actually vax’d - as long as they have a piece of paper for each kid, they are good. And many of those pieces of papers are simply religious exemptions signed off by the health department.
In Florida anyway, the Health Department can’t deny religious exemptions for any reason…
Essentially, it’s a non-issue here. You don’t want your kid to get this vax, file the religious exemption…
Can’t speak to other states tho.
