• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

It's because they haven't ever read the Word of God. God's Word is "sharper than any two-edged sword," and too many people today prefer to blunt the edges.

By doing so, they recreate God in their own image and worship a totem of their own morally unhinged cultural values, rather than humbling themselves before the God who made and loves them.

We're living in a Romans 1 world. If you don't know what that means, read that chapter every day for a week. You'll never see the world the same way again. That short chapter explains modern America better than any sociologist, economist, or historian ever could.
It’s interesting that you bring that, Romans 1:18-32, up...I study in The Word every day, but that particular scripture keeps coming back into my vision and the light in so many unusual ways...another today with your post.

I was quoting you on the first one. The kid that got suspended from school for taking a selfie with his teachers butt in the background.

One of my college roommates moved to Boise several years ago. He's a filthy hippy. Is Boise a haven for such? Never been there. He lived in Asheville, NC for many years before that, also a well-known stronghold for the unwashed and granola crunch crowd.
A section of DT Boise in like you describe. There is a reason everyone commutes. By the University is normal.

Think once this goes through they will try and force kids to have the vaccine before enrolling for school?
Likely. At least in any state where it’s legal to do so just like other “vax” have been required for decades.

Ohio is holding hearing on a bill to remove all vaccines from being required, by any entity, but short of such laws, in individual states, I don’t see how it doesn’t happen.

I can see it prompting a mass home school movement, beyond what we are already seeing, and that become a serious issue after the midterms.

Public schools will go bankrupt if 1/10 of kids start getting home schooled let alone 1/5 (which I think could be likely in certain states like 1980, NC, SC, TX, OH, FL, ect).

@MortgageHorn, is that your son? Or maybe @Oler Ted

I can't for the life of me, understand why someone would go to a church like this.
There are quite a number of people that simply want to go to a Christian church on Sundays without any regards to its teachings. Many actually just want a hyper-liberal feeling church to support their personal ideology. Many have a feeling that church attendance has more to do with getting into Heaven than practices and beliefs.

It is the tragedy of human history that many people will needlessly go to hell because they wanted to trust in what they did, instead of trusting in Jesus and what he did.

This is so true and a much bigger problem than the China virus. I noticed this at the Georgia game this weekend and anytime I’m around a lot of people unfortunately. Sadly most Americans are overweight and that is much more deadly for our country than any man-made virus. And not many people seem to address it

There are other reasons… first one I can think of is the 18 year olds blossoming into young women.

“Republicans famously slashed the corporate rate to 21 percent from 35 percent as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. But they also simultaneously created new taxes on big companies’ overseas earnings. The net effect was that big business received a projected $330 billion tax cut, according to Congress’ nonpartisan scorekeepers.

Democrats are not proposing to completely reverse that corporate rate cut — they’d push it back up to 26.5 percent. But they are also tightening those taxes Republicans created on multinationals’ foreign profits and adding a few others. The combined result is a $963 billion tax increase on corporations, according to official estimates — which businesses complain is almost three times the tax cuts they received in 2017.

That would come as corporate tax receipts, which plunged after the TCJA, are now rebounding thanks to higher profits. Corporate payments are projected this year to total $268 billion, not that far off from the $297 billion they paid the year before Republicans’ tax cuts took effect.

Democrats would say those official estimates understated how much companies got out of the TCJA because it included tax increases that were likely to be reversed later by Congress. And many don’t think corporations were paying their fair share even before the GOP cuts.”

Decent read about how the reconciliation bill might to look when it finally is passed.

Corps are gonna eat the majority of it. Nice to see them going after multinationals, stock buybacks, and write offs for large salaries instead of wealth taxes and some other taxes that were originally proposed.

The Bushes are part of the cabal. Always have been. His father was the one who made famous the phrase "New World Order". For years, I had hoped W wasn't corrupted like his family and cabinet, hopefully just incompetent, and not part of the Luciferian cult of billionaires that secretly is trying to run this world. He's made it plain the last few years where his loyalties lie.

No doubt they all hate Trump, but his hatred of Trump isn't really what fuels this. Those were strategic comments. It's the globalists' hatred of us. They are starting a new wave of propaganda to tie no-vacciners to Jan 6th all under one umbrella they can call Trump. It's a lot easier to gin up hate and blame against 1 than against 50 million+.
I can say.. He started out with a goal. Like Boss, he was clean. Didn’t come into the office with a black mail. Quickly found out President is just a media puppet.
