I've had covid. Got it from either my vaxxed husband or vaxxed daughter. They were both miserable. High fever, in bed for 3 and 5 days respectively, no taste or smell, body aches.
I, the untouchable unvaxxed, was sleepy for 2 days with a 99.5° fever.
That was a fun 2 weeks of family togetherness.
My social distancing was way too social and not nearly as distant compared to my normal.
We desperately need all military personnel to stand their ground on the vax mandates. Good optics on what’s to come. They can’t CM all of them. I stand with our Patriots in uniform. Hold the line. Exhaust the process. Tie up the JAG. Draw it out. Call the bluff. America needs you now more than ever. Afghanistan take over, Taiwan in danger - losing 30% of our military now is national security suicide. And they know it. Stand strong and take all 120 days before you even inform… Let’s go!!!!

They can't "stand their ground" on this. They are property of the US government. I know from experience. Close to when I was about to get out of the Army in 1999, my battalion started getting the Anthrax vax because we were possibly deploying to Kuwait. They knew I was getting out in a few months, but I had to get the vax despite the fact that I was not going to be deploying with them. I got 2 of the 3 in the series and got out before the 3rd one was scheduled. I had no choice in the matter.
I wonder what the mandatory vaccinations for the military will do for recruiters trying to get conservative minded 18 year olds to sign up. I can't imagine they are having much success. If anyone here on the board knows anyone in military recruiting, I'd be interested to know what they are saying about the process right now.

Unsure, basically that it’s mandated. The SECDEF memo didn’t give specifics were still waiting on a SECNAV to give more clarity. I don’t think they will jump to ADSEPS at first

Good points. I’m guessing he military wants to weed out those that think independently. The ones not weeded out can be woke indoctrinated.
Also with less wars, the military headcount can be reduced.

People can't / won't adopt those measures permanently and one theory is that your immune system will be weakened for not having been exposed to viruses for a lengthened period of time.

The daycare where my son goes in Michigan has had a few cases of RSV recently, which is not normal this time of year.

I have an 11 month old niece that just got over RSV. Doctor said they can't easily explain RSV in august.
