Yes. and the Dems love it. Hatch Act. Basically says one cannot use their US Gov't affiliation (Army uniform in this case) to sway political opinion. Have to be poitically neutral in uniform. And even DoD civilians can't bring up any of that affiliation if they choose to protest on their own time.
Most of us DoD civilians just stay away from all of it. Way better shit to do in free time.
