TFSF months ahead once again.

For those who don’t remember the details, Mexico was supposed to construct a bunch of pipeline and pump stations to deliver wastewater to a plant that the US has built, is expanding, owns and operates to the tune of a billion dollar program. Still not sure why we would be responsible to treat Mexican wastewater. But my guess is the Mexicans are behind on their part of the construction.

“On Wednesday in Alabama, a Walker County Sheriff's Office Deputy came across a man walking down the road with an oxygen tank and learned he is a Disabled American Veteran trying to walk/hitchhike from the Jasper area to Huntsville for a Dr. Appointment he was told he could not miss. With no way to get there, he said he started walking. The deputy acted quickly and escorted the Gulf War Veteran to the Cullman County line where a Cullman Sheriff Deputy picked him up. The deputy then transported him to the Morgan County Line where a Morgan County Sheriff Deputy took over and met a Madison County Sheriff Office Deputy in Huntsville who finished the trip and took the man to his appointment. After an overnight stay, we were happy to do it all again today..... in reverse to help get the man back home. We are thankful for our Veterans and were honored to play a small role in supporting this man who gave a great deal for our country!”

eggs in the mountains at the brand stores cost 7.99+ & gas is still over 3.00! we have to drive all over town when our WIC comes in just to find a place that still sells eggs thru WIC.

I see a Siemens CEO died in helicopter crash today in NYC, does anyone remember back to 2020 election fraud where their were rumors Siemens was involved, or did I make that up?
The video is odd. The entire tail came off. Video of it landing in the water and props too. Damn sure looked odd seeing the copter fall down wo the tail in mid air.

Siemens Spain CEO. Are you thinking of the German raid where Gina haspel oversaw it and was killed collecting election fraud data?

I’m sure nobody else watched this video but it’s very interesting. In short, the US is/will be spending billions of dollars to treat Mexican wastewater from Tijuana that is currently impacting Southern California. This won’t fix the issue, but will make it better.

TLDR summary:

1. Tijuana lacks adequate sewer systems and does not have enough wastewater treatment capacity. As a result untreated waste is dumping into the pacific via a river. Beaches have been closed in California for years because of dangerous water quality.

2. For some reason the US has built and is operating a 25 million gallon a day wastewater treatment plant to treat Mexico’s wastewater. It doesn’t have enough capacity. But even if it did the Mexican infrastructure can’t collect and deliver the wastewater to be treated.

3. The US is funding and expansion of our WWTP from 25 to 50 MGD. The lady that runs this thing says this is a $600,000,000 job (that Congress gave them money for). She also mentions $150,000,000 in upgrades to the existing plant. New BNR treatment costs minimum $30/gal. They are using progressive design build which will add to the cost, plus it’s a federal job. I’d bet a paycheck this ends up being a billion dollar job (25mgd * $30/gal + $150mil upgrades to existing plant + cost for federal work and db delivery).

4. They mention similarities to Pure water Oceanside. I had a minor role on the design for that facility. It takes wastewater, treats it basically to drinking water standards, and dumps it in the ground for use as a potable water source. That facility cost $158 million for 4.5 mgd. Which means this project will easily be over a billion dollars.

5. Then the lady goes into capital planning, SCADA systems and asset management. Further billions the US will spend to treat Mexican wastewater in the future.
Bump the post on the Mexican wastewater from December.

Not just Sweden

Oooo 6-speed. I got a Mustang GT convertible for my loaner while my car was being worked on this week and I was just itching for it to be a manual. :(

And I'm a millennial. Barely. '81, mostly Gen X I guess lol. Most older millennial dudes can drive stick shifts, we still grew up in that time frame. Now our women on the other hand.... lol NOPE!
