Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Well there’s a big lump in “her” throat.
He was ordered to be deported but he was not supposed to be returned to El Salvador because his lawyer convinced the judge that his mom was a farmer that an opposing gang was targeting, and he would be under risk of retaliation.... Now why did no one ask during that trial "so your mom was targeted by this gang, but you left her there and came here by yourself?".... But I digress.
Robert Gouveia had a good breakdown on it, but it was long. Dude had 3 trials on deportation and during all 3 trials he never argued he wasn't ms13. The only thing his lawyer was fighting was not going to El Salvador. Trumps listing of MS13 as a terrorist group should override that order from '19 because several things have changed since then. This injunction judge granted more than the lawyer or family were even asking for. They weren't even asking to return to the US because they knew he had 3 deportation orders already.
First time this guy was picked up he was with 2 or 3 other MS13 members and law enforcement said they were all high level leaders of the gang. 2011 was the first arrest I believe.... picked up during traffic stops it sounds like.
