Yeah I get that. I was a mod for 20 years and NEVER ignored anyone.
Because I thought it my duty to keep a pulse on what was going on in house.
That said... guys like him would have been shown the door already.
He's not here to add quality. He's here to disrupt the balance and flow of the gestalt.
That said... banning someone wasn't taken lightly. It took 3 mods to come to an agreement.
Also, there were 3 simple rules on that board:
No Porn
No Personal Attacks
No Spam
Violating any of them was a clear banning w/o much discussion, BUT we still had the discussion!
Seems to me "the rules" are nonexistent here which is a shame. One person can ruin it for everyone. The choice is to continue allowing it to happen and people will leave the board, or set the example.
