• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Many houses are built out of brick. Brick is also used for chimneys. It has been a building material since people begin to build things like chimneys and houses. Even back in the 1950s when Moses built bricks for the pharaoh, he built them, but was made to make them without straw. Straw does not burn so it would be good billing material. Straw does burn when it is consumed by fire so it is not a great deal material which is why it is surrounded by bricks. This is why Moses quit building bricks and then went to race chariots and then went to the planet of apes before he became an NRA guy
@AgEngDawg see this you inbred faggot^^^

That’s how it’s done.

I have a cousin in LA who lost his house, too. This whole thing has a manufactured vibe. Zero organic feel. Question is, who is setting these fires? Seems like a coordinated attack on a vulnerable area. And no water? C'mon.
Sorry to hear about your cousin’s misfortune. That sucks.

I am getting to the point of being downright pissed at what the firefighters on the ground are having to deal with. It’s like fighting fire with 1 arm tied behind their backs. The “leadership” at LAFD is a joke. I blame them 100%, along with the BS woke policies of that state.

Fingers crossed

You misspelled NHRA in your final statement..but otherwise very accurate. Moses was a famed Hot Rodder
