How many other posters are tired, very tired, of everyone you do business with sending surveys? I refuse to answer them.
My position is that "you will hear from me if something pisses me off" otherwise I'm not answering questions no senior executive will ever see. To the trash bin.
I put them in the same category as automated answering systems all business have which prevent you from talking with a live person. I have found these systems always ask "tell me about your issue so I can send you to the correct agent" three times, and if you do, you get more automated questions. I simply remain quiet through the 3 questions and I'm sent immediately to a live person. I've found if you want to talk with Billing or some other department, these automated systems kick in for about 5 minutes before sending to a live agent. Thus, I always ask for sales, which gets a live person quickly, and then tell them their systems sent me to the wrong place and please transfer me.
