Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Around 9:40 p.m. in Hollywood, Calif., a man in his 30s was walking three dogs when a male suspect approached the dog walker and shot him, according to Los Angeles Police Department's Officer Drake Madison. LAPD says the suspect took two bulldogs and took off in a white vehicle, while a third dog fled the scene and was later recovered. Police say the victim is currently in critical condition.
The "A Star is Born" star, who is currently in Italy, is offering a $500,000 reward for the return of her two stolen dogs, Lady Gaga's representative Amanda Silverman confirmed to USA TODAY. Those with information can email KojiandGustavo@gmail.com.
The "Chromatica" singer, 34, told USA TODAY in an interview last month she shares what many people are feeling during the pandemic: "an epic sense of powerlessness over what's happening in the world."

My parents are similar. They aren’t libs but they were Dems when younger. They now vote Republican. But like many in their generation they only watch network news (in their case ABC news). I can’t count the number of times I’ve told them things BDD did that they had no idea about because they only watch ABC news. The times when I’ve been to their house around 6:30 pm and been forced to watch their chosen news outlet was always eye opening. My dad would get pissed at me because I would shoot down 3/4 of the “stories” and rip on them because it was all such manipulated bullshit to portray BDD in a negative light.
