I watched a podcast a few weeks ago and a guy on there said that the US would get more liberal for about 20 years then swing wildly back to the right. He was basing it on statistics and history but in this day and age.... I think all the stats and data go out the window. Social media can swing shit in a couple years.

They beat you down with statistics that are inflated around election time. They like to convince you that you are in the minority b/c it keeps you quiet and demoralized. But mainly it gives them room to cheat weather harvesting, election voting system cheating, removing/adding ballots, etc.

In places like California it really keeps people away b/c the think their vote doesn’t matter. It hurts in a close downstream race in particular. People are weak and don’t think for themselves and soak up all the one sided media and are convinced they stand on the moral high ground and are proven “right” b/c they are in the majority. It’s voter suppression from so many different angles on top of psychological warfare.
