Donald Trump pushed HCQ in the absence of any other PIs, and once the vaccine was released he was all about the vaccine. He still takes credit for saving "hundreds of millions of lives."
Ron DeSantis made sure vaccinations were available to anyone who wanted them, and protected the people who didn't from retribution. And for that latter group he made sure other PIs such as monoclonal antibody treatments were available.
Your vapid argument attempts to position some sort of contrast that only exists in the mind of someone trying hard to overcome the cognitive dissonance between their support of Trump and their hatred of the Covid vax.
Is it cognitive dissonance when one supports a candidate who promoted the vaccine with no mandates and disavows another candidate who promoted the vaccine with no mandates while also promoting cheap and effective therapeutics in the face of every medical professional with a platform ridiculing him for promoting said therapeutics? Seems like one candidate would be more desirable if not for TDS.
And if you're being honest with yourself, nobody promoted monoclonal antibodies more than 45.
