Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

This is an example of how incapable and lost the biden Team really is. The Trump team would never be so unprepared. Well bc they actually functioned like a well oiled machine. This lady has been in this position her entire career and is having this much trouble. Its bc they haven't an Idea how to run as a function office. How to have meetings or how to prepare. A perfect perfect example of how the Biden team functions as a whole.

This sorta of discussion should be valued but I've only ever seen it breed apathy unfortunately. It's just my opinion but the political right has long been fooled into thinking these sorts of intellectual discussions are the pinnacle instead of someone who is really at the pinnacle and leads by ACTION (45).

Ohio State wouldn’t trade places with Clemson, or Alabama. Ryan Day ate Dabos heart, and should have beat him last year. Alabama is 1-1 with the Buckeyes in the playoff era, and their coach is like 80 years old.

This. Nobody is more critical of the Bucks than I am but to suggest any program besides Bama is even remotely close is comical.
Bucks have been playing and winning natties for decades now and when they aren't playing for a title they are winning a New Years 6 bowl.

The weather channel is the biggest fake news of them all. Quite an accomplishment if you ask me. Every single hurricane is the worst ever. Then it rains a little bit and the wind is 50mph lower than what they “measured” before it hit land. It’s a huge disservice to the people who aren’t going to listen to their BS and are going to get nailed by a bad one sooner or later.

One of my favorite memories as a Texas fan was winning the night game in the Shoe in '05 and watching the Midwest NASCAR Buckeye fanbase literally turn into a black lives matter peaceful protest, burning couches, destroying property and trying to fight anyone in burnt orange. It was incredible.

House floor update: Democrats are bringing a budget resolution to the floor this week, but it has nothing to do with the fiscally responsible process of crafting a budget, and everything to do with attempting to push their radical agenda through Congress. Now that Democrats control the House and the Senate, they are going to attempt to use a process called "budget reconciliation" to push through their agenda while circumventing the Senate filibuster. The first step in using the budget reconciliation process is to bring a budget resolution to the floor. The press is reporting that the Biden Administration intends to use reconciliation to attempt to pass a massive spending package under the guise of COVID relief, even though much of the funding from the last COVID relief package has not been distributed yet. Furthermore, every COVID relief package that passed during the Trump Administration was bipartisan. It seems odd that a President who has made "unity" his central theme, would exclude Republicans from having a say in the first major piece of legislation to move during his term. On second thought, it's only "odd" if you actually believed he was sincere on that point. I promise to continue to fight and to keep you updated about what's going on in Washington!
