Native Georgian here as well. Before the Catastrophuck of the election permanently soiled our state’s name, we were a great state. Aside from fuckery, we are still a great state. Please do not judge all of GA on the actions of China and corrupt officials. I’m willing to bet that at least 80% of us Georgians did not vote or support what happened in November. We have our issues but we are not just a collection of fuck ups. To be honest, most of us here, just got proper fucked by the bullshit.

My interpretation of the current climate is ANYTHING that might have a hint of political correctness needs aggressively irritated.

It's a big shift from the 'enlighted discussion' we were all taught to value growing up. Today's climate doesn't value such a posture. It merely exposes one to having their elections stolen, being called racist, ect.

Y'all know there isn't a bigger fan of 45 than this guy. 45 says political correctness is toxic and an affront to American values and I have to agree. Freedom of speech, religion, and gathering doesn't run congruent to the idea of political correctness.

I believe the Founders would have agreed that the only repugnant language is that which is a DIRECT attack on the The Bill of Rights and on God. Even the US Constitution should be open to criticism when the time is appropriate (see 14A and that climate as an example).

There's a reason I'm perfectly fine with my husband's guy trips to Aspen. I have no desire to be cold. The few times I go, I'll do a couple of runs and then I'm in by the fire... drinking.

I grew up skiing every spring break. I'm the only person I know who gets sunburned and borderline hypothermic at the same time. Ridiculous.

I like heat and humidity. There's a reason Southern girls have pretty skin. It's the humidity.

I do fine in the heat typically (110-115 in Vegas summers) but the humidity kills me. Went to the Dominican Republic a couple years ago, and when you got away from the ocean breeze, it was rough. Maybe you get used to it when you live in it, but I've been in the southwest most of my life so I'm not sure how well I'd acclimate to it.

The difference between winter and all other seasons in Georgia/Texas and the south is you can dress sparsely in most months.

When I go to the VA for anything, they always weigh me with whatever clothes, cell phones, keys, wallets, money, or anything else I'm wearing. I may have 10 pounds of extra stuff on me and that is what gets recorded in my record and medical decisions are based on that figure. It seems to upset them when I start taking stuff off before climbing on the scales.
