It's kind of a reach to say they entered the capital illegally considering there is video evidence of the cops ushering them in. That would be my argument anyways.

No doubt the vandalism should be charged under Trump's EO.

Not sure what the charge is. Dont think trespass is strict liability so prosecutor would have to show some intent-ish (mens rea) I think. If all things were fair, which they arent, then the cops should be prosecuted for conspiracy to commit . . .

Let’s assume this isn’t pure fantasy, which it is. How would this actually play out? In other words, who would put this process in motion? Be specific - and just saying “the military” isn’t what I’m looking for. I’m genuinely curious.

I'll take a stab as I've read a few of these articles.

It's being speculated in these articles that possibly up to 90% of Congress could be under arrest for various crimes.

Like a catastrophic event(Natural disaster or bomb), the responsibility to fill the vacant positions would fall to the state governors. They would likely pull from the state legislator to fill these rolls. It would be their discretion so they could possible send all of one party if they'd like.

These would be interim terms and all appointed would have to run for re-election when that particular seat is up for re-election.

Of course I could be way off base too. We'll see what plays out.

Yes I’ve opened a few on my iPhone. Much safer to do it that way and not on a work computer. First thing I saw some stuff on 911 I’ll continue digging
