Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I'll take a stab as I've read a few of these articles.
It's being speculated in these articles that possibly up to 90% of Congress could be under arrest for various crimes.
Like a catastrophic event(Natural disaster or bomb), the responsibility to fill the vacant positions would fall to the state governors. They would likely pull from the state legislator to fill these rolls. It would be their discretion so they could possible send all of one party if they'd like.
These would be interim terms and all appointed would have to run for re-election when that particular seat is up for re-election.
Of course I could be way off base too. We'll see what plays out.

Ah, possibly so. I'm not real tech savvy but that may be the issue.
Looks totally legit to me. Very much interested where it came from too. I am having no trouble opening and reading files and not logged into dropbox.
What's in it? I assume not puppy pictures.

It's an aggregation of files in folder structure. AG Barr to Yemen folders, with every subject you can think of in between. 60 plus folders.
