Just occurred to me that it's interesting even CNN/WaPo/NYT is reporting (or being allowed to report) on validity of the Hunter Biden scandals and a potential indictment. All while the prospects of Pedo Brown Jackson's nomination have turned around since last week, with the expected RINO filps.

I've always believed ACB sailed through simply due to the backdoor deal that the RINOs (basically all Pubs) wouldn't support any election challenges - and the corrupt DC fraternity rolls on.

Today, the Dems have a major problem with Puddin and it ain't getting any better - the Hunter news is giving them an easy way to get him out while looking "honorable" to their loony base, and the RINOs can say they removed a compromised and incoherent president...all while pushing a horrible nominee right through.

Another backroom deal?

I believe what we're seeing is their plan. They don't have to make deals, they'll buy or blackmail their way through any obstacle.

I don't know that ACB had anything to do with it, IMO, their plan has always been to transition away from Biden and Harris, putting the screws to Hunter may be used to get Joe to walk away vs. a messy 25th amendment fight or some such.

OTOH, it appears our plan is to sit on our hands and wait on prosecutors who will deliver very little, all while the America we all knew and love is being destroyed, right down to her foundations.

Has any of you unvaccinated folks traveled to the Bahamas lately? We are set to go toward the end of May and am curious what hoops you had to jump through? Hoping it all goes away soon. Thanks!
Last I heard, just a Covid test and vaccination. Leaving for the Turks Tuesday, they want all that, plus special insurance plus pre-approval.

I was there for 10 days a couple weeks ago. PCR negative test within 72 hours of entering Nassau and a rapid test negative to leave were all I ran into. Never ran into any mask Karens there except this one bar at Atlantis (I was only there touring the marina) and I just said I'd take my money elsewhere.

True enough - whether it's the Pelosi "wrap up smear" or any other number of ops in the Uniparty/MSM playbook, it's a well oiled machine. They know most of the public is too ignorant/distracted to ever really know (or care) what really happened.

I have no doubt the Hunter news is part of a controlled demolition so that what does get out is just enough to force Pedo Joe to resign, while also keeping the most horrific crimes of the Bidens (pedo/financial/treason) from ever getting out to a meaningful portion of America...lest they figure out it's just the tip of the iceberg to what all of DC has been doing for years.

I just thought the timing of CNN et al releasing more validation of the Hunter scandal, while Jackson Brown confirmation odds went from unlikely to what now seems like probable, was curious.

Former School of Medicine administrator pleads guilty to stealing $40 million from the University

Jamie Petrone-Codrington admitted to stealing $40 million in computer and electronic hardware from Yale School of Medicine.

A former Yale School of Medicine employee pleaded guilty on Monday to fraud and tax offenses after stealing $40 million in computer and electronic software from the school over a nearly ten-year period.

The former administrator, Jamie Petrone-Codrington, pleaded guilty in Hartford federal court, the U.S. Department of Justice announced. Arrested by a criminal complaint on Sept. 3, 2021, Petrone-Codrington was released on a $1 million bond pending sentencing. In 2008, Petrone-Codrington was employed by the Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine and most recently served as the Director of Finance and Administration for the department. According to the DOJ press release, Petrone-Codrington had the authority to make and authorize purchases up to $10,000 for departmental needs. Beginning as early as 2013, Petrone-Codrington illegally purchased and resold the hardware using funds from the School of Medicine. In total, Petrone-Codrington caused a loss of approximately $40,504,200 to Yale and a loss of $6,416,618 to the U.S. Treasury.

“Petrone-Codrington pled guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of filing a false tax return. She will be sentenced at a later date and will pay restitution to Yale University and the IRS,” University spokesperson Karen Peart said. “Yale initially alerted authorities to evidence of suspected criminal behavior last year and fully cooperated throughout the investigation. The University thanks local law enforcement, the FBI, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for their handling of the case. Since the incident, Yale has worked to identify and correct gaps in its internal financial controls.”

The DOJ alleged that as part of the scheme, Petrone-Codrington falsified Yale internal forms and electronic communications to claim that the hardware was for medical school needs, such as medical studies. She broke up the fraudulent purchases into orders below the $10,000 threshold that would necessitate additional approval. An out-of-state business, which resold the electronic equipment to customers, paid Petrone-Codrington by wiring funds into an account of a company in which she is a principal, Maziv Entertainment LLC.

According to the government court filing, Yale received an anonymous tip that Petrone-Codrington was “ordering suspiciously high volumes of computer equipment, some of which was placed into her personal vehicle.”

Petrone-Codrington used the proceeds of the sales of the stolen equipment for various personal expenses, including expensive cars, real estate and travel.

She has agreed to forfeit $560,421.14 that was seized from the Maziv Entertainment LLC bank account as well as a litany of expensive cars: a 2014 Mercedes-Benz G550, a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sv Autobiography, a 2015 Cadillac Escalade Premium, a 2020 Mercedes Benz Model E450A, a 2016 Cadillac Escalade and a 2018 Dodge Charger. She also has agreed to liquidate three Connecticut properties that she owns or co-owns to help satisfy her restitution obligation. A property she owns in Georgia is also subject to seizure and liquidation.

Petrone-Codrington did not pay taxes on the money she received from selling the stolen equipment. She filed false federal tax returns for the 2013 through 2016 tax years in which she claimed as business expenses the costs of the stolen equipment, and failed to file any federal tax returns for the 2017 through 2020 tax years, according to the DOJ press release. This caused a loss of $6,416,618 to the U.S. Treasury.

According to the complaint, Petrone-Codrington provided a voluntary statement to law enforcement on or around Aug. 26. Among other things, she admitted to having devised and executed the scheme and indicated that it had been going on for several years, possibly as many as 10. Petrone-Codrington estimated that approximately 90 percent of her computer-related purchases were fraudulent.

She pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years, and one count of filing a false tax return, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of three years.

The lawyer representing Petrone-Codrington could not be located or identified by the News. Petrone-Codrington could not immediately be reached for comment.

Gotta be a larp
@TJHall1 I believe you wanted to know more about the nerve disease my client had in December. I spoke with him today. He originally was treated in a local hospital for a bladder infection, something not real common in males. He was released and had to use a walker. His condition got worse until he could barely walk. He went to Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, OK. They did a blood culture which took several days to complete. He was released to his son's home in Ardmore. Once they got the results of his culture they told him to get back to the hospital ASAP.

They called the disease ESBL or Extended Spectrum Beta-Lactamase. They treated him with IV Invanz antibiotic. He was told that the sooner one gets treated the less likely they were to have permanent nerve damage. My client is walking albeit not 100% but close.

He believes it was the booster or 3rd Jab. He took that in November and was in the hospital in Ardmore in December.
ESBL is not a disease nor a diagnosis it is the name of a type of antibiotic resistance. The bacteria is resistant to 3rd generation cephalosporins and you have to use a “big gun” antibiotic like Invanz. He was exposed to this bacteria somehow/somewhere. What bacteria was it (E Coli, Klebsiella) and where was the source of the infection - usually it is a UTI, Abdominal, or Pneumonia. I’m confused on how it caused the neurological dysfunction unless he had Guillain Barre Syndrome which could of been a reaction to the infection (very rare) or due to the jab.

Watching the weather through Oxford (worrying about my girl. Campus closed at noon today) and then us and keeping boys safe late tonight.

On the plus side, I've created 2 new drinks at Bud and Ally's. once a bartender, always a bartender. 😂
