There will also be more people making their own decisions on how they want to deal with the virus.”
Fauci said that he hopes all COVID-19 restrictions will be halted in the coming months as well, citing mandatory mask-wearing as one of the restrictions he expects to end. He agreed that restrictions might end in 2022.
“There is no way we are going to eradicate this virus,” said Fauci according to the Times. “But I hope we are looking at a time when we have enough people vaccinated and enough people with protection from the previous infection that the Covid restrictions will soon be a thing of the past.”

So, I’m totally against mandates, but I’m stick to my normal thought process of common sense.
Everyone needs groceries, so for those who are vulnerable with their health who have to go there, I’ll put a mask on. Same with hospitals and clinics. And any essential place you can’t avoid going to even if you’re vulnerable with your health.
But bars, restaurants, gas stations, churches, gym, hardware stores, and etc., nah, no mask because it’s your choice to be here when you don’t have to be.

I have a dilemma with watching the olympics. I vowed not to watch any of it and I have been spot on in regards to that so far. However someone I know is participating in an event tomorrow and I want to watch. I think I am going to watch him as far as he goes and then go back to not watching any of it.
I agree that in the big picture, it's horse shit that anything happened to them. The problem is that there are multiple pictures of them pointing their weapons at other people. Maybe the people they were flagging were pointing weapons at them too, but do you expect rioters to testify against their comrades in court? This couple could have kept their muzzles pointed at the ground and had the same effect they had without creating criminal liability. The outcome was really about the best they could have had. The DA was not going to drop the charges that were a slam dunk.
The article cited in his post says that the rise of HIV among the heterosexual population was in 2020, prior to vaccination. If the vaccines do produce false positive HIV test results, we would have heard much more about this by now.
The issue, however, is that masks don't work or stop the spread of Wuhan. If people want to wear them that's their choice but I don't want to regardless of where.

Good for you and I support and agree with your opinion. I do have one issue though. You are not helping the vulnerable out by wearing a mask. Masks do not work in stopping the transmission of viruses. Even the sainted N95 masks. (which warned, on the boxes label, that these masks do not stop transmission of viruses)
It is also your choice to be at a grocery store as well. Giving an inch on this is what resulted in the overreaching mandates that 2 years later, largely remain in place. I’m watching the olympics every night. For me watching these athletes that have trained their entire life for one moment is compelling. I watch nfl too. I’m not having somebody else’s politics ruin my entertainment. If I did I couldn’t watch movies or tv, listen to a lot of music I like, etc.
Now I have no problem routing against Americans competing as Chinese or against the Keller/Drew Breeses of the world. It’s just that much more fun when they lose.
It is a free country, sort of. I would argue the couch is right where they want you. So enjoy the games provided for you. SKOL brother!
