• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

One more thing I really want to say again. I am sick of this fucking government trying to push a supposed Covid vaccine
There is no such thing as a Covid vaccine. There is a vaccine for polio and smallpox but there is not for Covid. I had the Covid Pfizer shot in April and still got Covid. It’s total bullshit and it pisses me off every time I see the word vaccine next to Covid

This is being done for political gain and financial gain !

end of rant

The comments on that tweet are unbelievable.

Colin Powell's net worth is $60 million.

Not bad for a soldier and government worker that was paid less than $300,000 for a few years of government service.

Eisenhower warned us of this.
Yep, fvck that guy. I'm a veteran that served during his lies of yellow cake and all that bullshit that got us in a twenty year war. He is just as guilty as the Bushes and everyone else involved. You are not safe from the retaliation and punishments you deserve.

Why the fuck do I need to know a secret menu in order to get halfway decent food at a drive through? In & Out has a great reputation because of the bleeding heart faggots that love everything that comes from California. If we’re being objective on food taste and quality, In & Out is on par with McDonald’s and Burger King.
Dude, no. Just fvcking no! I'm sure you're a Whataburger guy. To each their own.

All fast food burgers are shit. I refuse to abide by shit burgers. This coming from a Viking who once ate 38 burgers in one month. My nickname in the army was Whimpy. You fools fight over the slop, I eat quality burgers. SKOL!
I think we can all agree after reading this that we need to hear (read) 2 things.
1. Tell us about the 38 burgers you ate in a month. Where from? Why? Etc.
2. Give details on these quality burgers. Are they from a restaurant? If you make them, please provide the recipe.

TIA.

Like I said previously, don't get too excited yet, as this is not agreed upon... But it is one hell of an opening position for bargaining.
According to docs I’ve seen come out of Big Air Force, none of this will be agreed on. Wish I knew the negotiation process better. This is an absolutely hallmark moment for the Union. And if I was BUE, I’d be selling the shit out of it to recruit more “Dues Paying” members…

We all know the DoD unions only care about the “position” not the employee (no dues in these union - optional only) - but this could really create a true union with dues paying members.

The fact that this was created also shows us that there an IMPRESSIVE number of dissenting BUEs!! Otherwise, this would have never come to light.

This document is extremely encouraging.

In Anchorage. Tommy’s Burger Stop is excellent as well as Arctic Roadrunner. Sewards Folly has a damn good fresh made burger as well. The Paris Club has a filet lunch burger that is one of the best I have had. Of course I make my own and when you are young buck pounding 38 burgers in a month is nothing. Why you ask? Why not, I did say my nickname was Whimpy. If you don’t know who Whimpy is, DuckDuckGo his ass. Swiss cheese, sautéed onions is my favorite way as long as the ground is fresh I will eat it. I can taste frozen patty before I bite it. Like assholes who boil ribs before grilling. My last meal will be a burger. SKOL!

In & Out is never frozen, and the sole reason they're west coast only. They can't guarantee the freshness they're known for. Most homos that bitch about them come through and buy some girly single pattie and cry. Get a fvcking man burger and monster that shit. I agree, you can get some good burgers from local restaurants. But I can still walk out of In & Out with a combo under $8 as apposed to a $14 burger that's extra with tip and drink.

Federal regulators are expected to authorize the mixing and matching of COVID-19 booster doses this week in an effort to provide flexibility as the campaign for extra shots expands.

The upcoming announcement by the Food and Drug Administration is likely to come along with authorization for boosters of the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson shots and follows the OK for a third dose for the Pfizer vaccine for many Americans last month. The move was previewed Tuesday by a U.S. health official familiar with the matter who was not authorized to speak publicly ahead of the announcement.

The FDA was expected to say that using the same brand for a booster was still preferable, especially for the mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna that have proved most effective against the coronavirus. The agency was still finalizing guidance for the single-shot J&J vaccine.

quote:

One confusing decision is what Moderna dose to recommend in combination with other brands. Moderna has applied for its booster to be half the original dose, saying that's plenty for people who already received two full-strength shots. But the mix-and-match study used full-strength extra doses, and there's no way to know if a half-dose Moderna booster would trigger as strong a reaction in J&J recipients.

OSHA says what harmful side effects?

Are adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine recordable on the OSHA recordkeeping log?
DOL and OSHA, as well as other federal agencies, are working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers' vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904's recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022. We will reevaluate the agency’s position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward.
