In the coming days/weeks, there will be police/paramedics/linemen, etc. coming to town from other parts of the state to help out with the aftermath from Ida. Wonder how they will be treated. Will they be allowed to help out without showing proof of the vax? Will it expose the ridiculous nature of vaccine cards and possibly even cause some introspection by the mayor and others?

As a line worker. I’m sitting here drinking Busch light cold beer watching videos of this storm. I’ve worked quite a few hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms.. and, so on. They try to make it dramatic. The one storm restoration we done that still tugs at me some, was the Chattanooga tornado last year. I’ve never seen anything that made me wanna drive home that quick and hold my girls. That was pure wreckage. When we left we had help build 58 miles of power lines
