Carolina folks…anyone know what from?
Assume it’s a scam.Re: Blue Cross Blue Shield Settlement
I keep getting email telling me I am part of a class action suit settlement against BCBS. I have never been insured by them. I'm told I am part of the class because I either owned a policy or was insured by someone BCBS provide administrative service for. Nowhere in their documents does it list which other insurance companies BCBS serviced.
Anyone else get this?
@TFSF doctors. Does this take have any sauce?
Don't think so other than the attorneys will make a windfall and the class members will get peanuts.Assume it’s a scam.
I entered into the suit but have not heard anything since.Don't think so other than the attorneys will make a windfall and the class members will get peanuts.
David Boies is the lead counsel for the Plaintiffs. Kirkland & Ellis from Chicago are the counsel for BCBS et al. They wouldn't allow their names to be on a scam.
Actions speak louder than words. Time to see things happening.
It is not a scam. The class action law suit settlement was granted preliminary approval by the US District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. The notice my father and I received had a unique number to use to file a claim (we both have BCBS). Claims must be filed by 11/5/2021. The website is bcbssettlement.com.Assume it’s a scam.
I have until November to file a claim. I just want to know how I got there. Which entity did I belong to meets the criteria? In their documents the entities they claim are included are very broad and vague. If you belong to a company BCBS serviced or had insurance provided by a government entity or semi-government entity. But, no specific names other than BCBS.I entered into the suit but have not heard anything since.

When I worked with the federal gov't, I had insurance through one of 60+ authorized companies. Could have been BCBS or Joe's Bar and Insurance Agency. I don't remember other than I never got sick or filed a claim.
It was like the Equifax breach settlement. You could get $125 cash and be done or a share of the settlement (much smaller). I opted for the cash and sent in my claim. Later, they sent back a letter telling me too many wanted the $125 cash which exceeded the total amount. (Nobody could apparently do math before sending out the claim forms.) So, they simply moved me and everyone else to the $1.95 Gong Show payout. These class actions are funny. About 30 years ago, I was a part of one. The payout I got was something like $1.38..no shit.
Didn't even cash it, would rather someone waste time having to track how things were going and where the money went

Will do, thanks for the info too, as I may try the other site to get itI paid $90 to them over 2 weeks ago and still nothing. I think others in this thread need to back off from using Frontline for the time being. LVRebel, let us know if you get any info to get your script. My brother has also had more than 2 weeks and nothing as well.
