Hope you're right, Opie. My wife tested positive this past Saturday. She has MS and AFIB but still gets around pretty good. Works 5 days a week. Caught it from some dumb bitch she works with that came to work for over a week coughing and hacking all over everybody. Praying she has your experience. So far, so good. She gets an antibody infusion tomorrow morning.

Is she getting an infusion of convalescent plasma?

Days 4 and 5 were my worst days. Headache, fever and loss of taste/smell. Recovered after 9 days but experienced fatigue for several months afterwards. Mine was January 2020 when nobody knew what it was and called it a "virus of unknown etiology".

BIL's 101 y/o mother got it and is recovering after antibody treatment.

Good buddy of mine just caught it for the second time.

First time was no biggie.

This time he got hospitalized and almost died. He's still on oxygen and they thought it was a big deal that he was able to take 22 steps yesterday.

They're hoping he gets off oxygen soon and think he might get released in a week.

He's not old and he's not a phat.

All that being said, we still didn't need to shut everything down for this.

That's extremely rare to get it twice.

ooof not good if you are still having chills/ aches by day 4. Mine were gone day 2. Days 3 to 6 are your body feeling great and getting ready for days 7 to 10 when all hell breaks loose. Day six/ seven are normally when folks find out if they need hospitalization or not.

Do you have someone nearby that can get you hospital care if needed? If not, you may want to look into that.

I have some people, but I’m not one to ask for help or go to the doctor. I’m too stubborn to do that.

We’ll see how stubborn you are when the breathing hits you in about 48 to 72 hours.

Don’t play around with this virus.

We have over 60 positives at the plant and only a handful had any breathing issues at all. Zero hospitalizations.

I know other folks like @Nape have struggled, and @tgsio has had known a fatality, but those are rare occurrences.

Several people I know got it and symptoms were gone within a day. Can't remember the name of the shit they used but it is known as an animal de-wormer.

Idk, seems pretty weak to me. I’ll keep y’all monitored.

It starts off that way as the virus replicates in your cells. Your immune system spikes at first to kill it, then it goes into hiding. Normally your immune system shuts off until the second wave hits. In your case it sounds like it isn’t shutting off so when the second wave hits it could hypercharge your body and lead your immune system to attack healthy parts of you and make it a rough experience.

That doesn’t sound good at all. When can I taste things again? Ate some spicy stuff and all I tasted was the heat.

you can make your own hydroxychloriquine by using 1 gallon distilled water 3 grapefruits and 6 lemons....organic preferably....bring the outer skins to a boil for 3 hours....use a sealed pot do not take the top off ....at 3 hours lift lid scrape the surface only of the floating film only skim it ...then put it in a 6 ounce glass and drink it ....every 3 hrs....it's def a cure that's a fact ....good luck man

Yea. I had covid and started freaking out about my o2 levels. When I went to the dr my o2 was 98% or something and I realized I was just making myself worried about o2. The headache was the only thing that sucked for mine. I didn't realize I had lost my smell until I had gone back to work and we had a plumbing issue that stunk up the office and I couldn't tell what people were talking about. LOL.

My youngest boy, a FR at Iowa, had it two weeks before Memorial Day and didn’t get his taste back until the end of September. Other 3 got it back in a couple of weeks. It’s nuts how random this bug is.
