I think the wrap was $250 and the labor $200.
Not sure what the material is, but it's mostly used for advertising on your business vehicle. Instead of painting it you wrap it.

For me it's that my truck has taking a bunch of scratches. I'm thinking hunter green.

sure - except it doesn't last like paint. 4-5 years, maybe, which may be as long as most people would have a vehicle
Full disclosure, he teaches classes on wrapping vehicles. He usually rents a car, wraps it, unwraps it, and returns it. I volunteered ol girl so it was free. I went with a solid blue on what was a gray truck. I'll see if I can find a before and after pic to post.

Simple answer, yeah. I had the wrap ceramic coated for shows though so it never needs re-waxing
Vinyl with an adhesive backing and kinda. They use heat and stretch it to catch all the contours. Downside is if you open the doors, you can see the old colors. But, when I go thru the carwash it pops. Had one guy tell me that color "doesn't exist in nature, I've only seen it in comic books".
