i’ve been tasked to write a bid for a government contract.

This is the first one that I have ever been involved with, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a resource to see what current passed contracts were being bid and accepted at.

I would greatly appreciate it, and would consider posting screen shots of my recent trolling of a sex workers via text message.

Per chatGPT:

For your first government contract bid, one of the best resources to see past and current contracts is the [**USAspending.gov**](https://www.usaspending.gov/) website. It provides a comprehensive database of government spending, including awarded contracts, who won them, and for how much. You can search by agency, contractor, or keyword.

Another excellent resource is the [**System for Award Management (SAM.gov)**](https://sam.gov/). This platform lists active federal contract opportunities and also allows you to search for contract awards to see what kinds of bids were successful.

If you’re trying to focus on pricing or trends in accepted bids, you might also want to look into **FPDS (Federal Procurement Data System)**, which is now part of SAM.gov. It provides detailed information about federal procurement, including bid amounts and contractors.

Have you figured out the type of contract you're bidding for yet (e.g., fixed-price, time-and-materials)? That can influence where you focus your research.

It is a simple janitorial job at the local national weather service office. I’m really thinking of making the bus myself and just doing it four hours a night because I am a poor and could use the funds.
Sadly, I have alienated just about everybody in my life and being poor. I have horrible credit and can’t get a business loan, even if I did win the contract.
