Anyone familiar with Microsoft Word for the 365 version?

I'm trying to figure out how to do pages without always hitting enter at the bottom and typing in the number. Any help would be much appreciated.

Not at my computer at the moment, but I remember it being an automated thing, definitely didn’t have to type it at the bottom of page.

maybe check the “footer” settings?
