Just sliced up a watermelon. About to get some salt and eat the entire thing in honor of gay pride month
It’s weird but I only eat an inch or so of the red part of the melon and the rind all the way to the green. Z

my family has laughed at me for years because of that

I have been trying to understand what you mean for five minutes. Do you eat all the way down to the rind, or just the red part?

Picked those today. Got some strawberries coming in and Mexican peppers on the way: cucumbers are a week or so out.

Nice. Looks delicious. Love doing cast iron, it's the best. Shit looks perfectly cooked
Appreciate it. Haven’t used the cast iron in a while and got side one a little hot. I think its burnt, others call it a “crust”

Hell no that ain't burnt. Thats perfect. I love having a crisp outside. I use seasonings just to achieve that.

Over did one side with a hot stove. Delicious as shit but some folks will say looks dry, like shit etc.

Looks amazing to me.

Did a reverse seer on bone in pork chops yesterday. Two different ways. Sous vide them at 135 degrees. Went in straight out of the freezer and let the sit in Sous Vide for 5 hours. Had two different skillets going. One with nothing but olive oil on high heat and just season salt and cracked pepper. The other with Gerard's Champagne Dressing, some rosemary, red pepper flake salt, and pepper. The second was mine. I won. No pics, but should have taken some.
