• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

A Clemson man needs no introduction. Update: your #25 clemson gentlemen

2 things. Papa is in the house and 1980 will 1980.

Bahaha, "Papa's in the house!" ...worst bowl game ever. Freezing cold, we played like dogshit, somehow the Papa John's bowl fucking ran out of pizza by halftime, and Papa's in the house, Papa's in the house, Papa's in the house, Papa's in the house...

Papa Johns running out of pizza at half-time is the most Papa Johns thing ever.

True, lol. That and the Papa's in the house insanity were very Papa Johns and extremely Birmingham.

If you weren't there, you may not know about the Papa's in the house bullshit. They had someone at halftime try to kick or throw a football to win something or other. So I guess in an attempt to get the crowd to chant along, they had a soundbite they played over the PA system of a crowd chanting "Papa's in the house", over and over...but they must have had a glitch in the system because instead of playing for 10-20 seconds, it played non-stop for like 10 minutes, loud as shit.
