100s of birds fall out of the sky dead

My cat catches birds and set them lose in the house alive, I have a pair of leather gloves in the house that I put on so I don’t get and diseases when I corner them and catch them. They are always injured when I get them so I twist their heads of to kill them. Sounds brutal but I’m not going tO set them loose to suffer

Read somewhere that a predator bird was probably chasing them and since those birds basically just follow the bird in front of them their pattern got messed up and they flew straight into the ground.
