I think you missed the point completely, but regardless, just to clear up the details...Spurrier did somewhat leave us high and dry, but he tried to quit 2 seasons earlier than he did. Had he done that, things would have gone very differently. Ray Tanner's fucking dumbass begged him, and convinced him to stay, so he coached another season & a half, giving zero fucks & letting his assistants run things into the ground. So, yeah, fuck Spurrier for that, I guess, but mostly fuck Tanner & our joke of a board of trustees is my point.
