The left has done a great job preaching that Republicans want to "control a woman's body", pay them less, etc. They can't see past it. The left (or in my opinion something deeper and more sinister than the right/left) own so many methods of establishing and propagating their narrative that those who refuse to see/think for themselves are slave to whatever they say.
"Republicans are the enemies of women" is the message they are being fed.
