London, UK on a work exchange, then backpacked around Europe for a couple of months

Absolutely. Loved Boise from 02-04. Downtown was in revitalization and we partied hard every weekend. Lived in Columbia village, rode bikes down on Saturday morning, cabbed home early Sunday morning, jumped in a truck Sunday at noon for brunch and biked home drunk...good times.

Meridian and Eagle were just starting to boom.

Wife cried when she heard we were going back to Mt Home cause we had to live on base. Different ecosystem 60 miles east. Turned out well because we had a new house and great neighbors.
