Good for you. I wanted to do that but saw the writing on the wall in the Dairy industry way back in the early 80’s.

We sold all the cows, planted a bunch of timber, and are waiting now for the payoff. I miss my cows. Still nothing better than having tour next door neighbor a quarter mile away.

Nashville is nice. Has state highway from C’bus to Lancaster expanded over the years? I just fly into C’bus for games now and don’t venture far from campus.

Just take 33 all the way to 70. It's a very easy drive. Mornings can get a bit congested, but I work in Pataskala so I take back roads.

I spent every summer in Dumas with my grandparents...by choice. I adored them and traveled with my grandfather on his medical supply deliveries from the time I was potty trained (a couple of times before when my grandmother could go to take care of me) until 7 weeks before he passed away. I wouldn't trade that time with him for anything.

We made a full circle to end up where we each started.

The plan is to eventually split time between Western Carolina and Aspen.
