My husband and 2 oldest girls got it. (Husband and local daughter both got covid 12 days after Vax. So that was especially fun.)

I and the 2 younger kids have not and will not. (We did not contact covid because we already had this shit. However (TMI warning) menstrual cycles were screwy for the ladies... including the 2 who did not get the vax.

Shockingly... there was no shaming or fighting about it. Make your decision for whatever reason and get on with life. The sooner this bullshit comes to an end, the better (should have never been a thing)

SO my wife and I got it. Not too bad, but developed a nice case of Tinnitus. To the point where it is so loud it wakes me up in the middle of the night. Feels like it is fading, but damn this sucks. Just though I would throw it out there. If you have tinnitus now, the vax will make it worse for sure.

Who knows why some have worse reactions. Practically everyone in my family including my 85 year old Mom, my brother and sister in law, my 40 something year old sons and their wives and no issues other than about a day of low energy as the worst side affect.

Good points.. There are like 5 mutations without the virus from India, s America, s Africa. Probably will be worse now the vaccine is being more widespread.

looking at the virus at a macro level, there is probably data to predict who this will affect like being fat, low vitamin D, etc. instead of just accelerating these folks demise that was going to happen in the next year or so, the vaccine will either avoid death for those with comorbidities, or if healthy, avoid getting the sniffles/worry the perceived randomness of death associated with the covid, and doing their part for society as a whole.

It is a personal choice and I hope that "government" remembers that if they even start thinking about mandating everyone gets an experimental shot in this national drug trial.
