Venom was def on par with the two new Spidey movies. Darker but with some solid humor.

I ended up enjoying it for the most part. When I watched Venom, I fully expected to hate it, and was very pleasantly surprised.

Probably the strength of the movie was how they portrayed the parasite in Eddie Brock's mind. I was really surprised how they pulled it off.

My brother is a stuntman. He did stunts and stunt coordinating on Venom. I have not watched the first one.

I get that. And I also know they’re doing it for money, but rated-R Wolverine was 1000x >>>>> than any wolverine in all of the other movies.

Excludes a lot of key demographics though for superhero movies but then you look at DP and Joker and they made billions.
