Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

It would be better if transes compete in all trans competitions against fellow transes and let naturals compete in all natural competition. otherwise, feminists are taking too long to jump on these, btw i heard that people who fight for trans rights are called transistors.is it true?

My sisters grew up being told the same thing and they believed it for a while. Then when reality set in and my sisters being who they are (they would both fit in well with our crowd here) moved on to woman's sports where they had a chance. One of my sisters was a D-1 golfer and the other was in track and field on the D-2 level. They cringe at seeing men being allowed to compete in their sports.

I would not categorize them as straight except straight homo.
The real women just need to boycott meets with males in them. Spectators need to not go to these events or walk out when the first swinging dick arrives to compete.

Does it make it better for them to practice and work out and still get beaten by a male? To me that would be a mockery of all their hard work? At some point, people need to take a stand. It will be easier to do now than 6 months from now.
First time in history it was hard to get women to complain about something.
That’s not what I mean….try explaining to them that they practice and workout all the time BUT don’t get to compete. My daughters are both competitive as hell and won’t be ok with this.

So, it's better for them to compete for 2nd, 3rd or 4th place with little chance to actually win? If they don't like men unfairly competing in their sport, or walking around naked in the locker rooms, perhaps they need to take a stand against the sport that allows this.
Maybe but she (buddies wife) feels the best approach is for the ADULTS to start acting like adults and fighting the battle. As our kids are elementary/middle school age. I joking rib Eric that Jeri is just being selfish as she hold a bunch of NCAA records and does want to lose them.
