Is anyone familiar with The Guide for the Perplexed?
It was written around 1190 and sets out to explain a lot of the Old Testament doctrine. The third book provides a detailed explanation of Ezekiel’s chariot.
Well the publication of this book pissed off a ton of the top brass in the Jewish community at the time. They set out to create a mystical response called the Zohar that is somewhat considered “secret” doctrine of the Jews and is the central document of all things Kabbalah
The Kabbalah is a common theme in nearly ALL the mystery societies, from the higher degrees of Free Masonry to the Rosicrucians to Aleister Crowley’s Thelema.
Interesting stuff to say the least that gets buried in history.
