Oil industry isn't drilling like crazy either, just completing wells that have been sitting.
It looks like they finally learned a little discipline.
To top it off, everyone I talk too can't find workers.
I was interviewed on a Thurs, offered Friday night and started Saturday morning. No upfront drug test, background check or physical up front.(handled later) This was for a well paying salary + commission job. I had 2 solid non related industry references put in a good word for me.
