Got to give the left credit on that point. They’ve accomplished most of this list and they’re still fighting for the rest of it almost 60 years later...
I agree with you and just “maintaining the moral high ground” has proven to be a losing mentality. So what’s the alternative? If y’all had to make a list of the right’s goals/priorities right now to combat this shit what would it look like?
#1: Jesus Christ must be honored in our government. Without His blessing, nothing will stand. Milquetoast "judeo-christians" like Ben Shapiro and Turning Point USA shape the right-wing groupthink while holding no concrete values other than a vague espousal of "freedom," which protects debt slavery, pornography, prostitution, and every vice known to man. Our positions should not be determined by our conceptions of what is fair, but of Christ's word.
#2: This may sound draconian, but it should be to regain control over the country's social institutions by any means, especially the internet and schools. Kids spend 8 hours a day at public schools, then spend hours on snapchat, instagram, tiktok, youtube, and only a left-wing viewpoint is funneled to them on each and every issue, ultimately getting far more formative time with them then even their parents. The left has no qualms weaponizing these institutions. We should not either.
#3: We need to put the well-being of the American people above the profits of large businesses. The American right is obsessed with defending globalist billionaires because "they earned it," while those same businessmen use every resource and connection at their disposal to combat us. They pay for subversive ads promoting subversive agendas like women's empowerment (enslavement), BLM, LGBT pride, and lobby (bribe) our politicians to work for them instead of us. Libertarians and their ilk claim that the market will always balance things out, but that just isn't borne out in reality. Realistically you cannot boycott these companies which hate us. Even if you did, you would end up without a bank account, without most food products, without the ability to make online transactions, and without an internet service provider! My bottom line here: in absence of government, corporations and the very rich will become de-facto despots and policymakers.
This doesn't even begin to cover the growing apostasy of the church, wage stagnation, the destruction of the nuclear family due to working women, the disappearance of self-employed Americans, and a host of other issues caused (or at least allowed) by the right's infatuation with economic progress at all costs. In the words of a great man, “I see the true destiny of our people as lying not in time but in eternity. Political achievements, culture, struggles and national greatness are means, not ends in themselves. The ultimate goal is not life but resurrection.”
