I bent over to pull my boot on, coughed, and pulled a hammy.
Went pheasant hunting for the first time in my life with an old college buddy and a group about 10 guys. I’ve gone with a friend year ago just walking some fields locally and rarely saw anything I’ve never gotten into bird hunting.
Was at an outfitter that hatches their own birds and is pretty big place. Did a European hunt in the morning I had no clue wtf that was until we got out there and got set up. I have never hit a moving bird or clay in my life and just have an old Remington 870 express 20 guage I haven’t shot it in at least 8 years it’s covered in rust didn’t even test fire it before going. First bird came right at me and somehow I dropped it. After that I had the luckiest day of my life and cleaned up during the euro hunt.
