Was told this yesterday.
Tampering with players by SEC schools and the ncaa doing nothing about it burned him out.
Not surprising. Every school in that conference has done things that would get them the “death penalty” if the rules were applied equally across the board.

He just gave up. Original plan was to wait until the end of this year. He stepped down now because TTech is going after Traylor/UTSA Coach and TCU wants him. Same reason TTech fired Wells.
I think we all know it’s true.
It’s time for the NCAA to finally do the right thing and cut 10 scholarships from every SEC school for the next 10 years along with a 5 year post season ban for every school.
More scholarship losses, and longer post season bans, still being on the table for any program that has infractions come up during their program’s investigation.
