***Official 36th Americas Cup Thread***

Luna Rossa has lost one race since the round robin. They beat Ineos UK 7-1 and are looking super heading into the Cup. The Kiwi’s, however, pose a different challenge. They are sailing on home turf and their boat is a well oiled machine. Should be a great Cup on these amazing AC-75s.

So I guess all of the lore behind the Kiwi’s superior boat is being put to rest. After 4 races in the Cup we are tied at 2-2. Yesterday was in super light wind, a perfect setup for Luna Rossa. They won the first match on impeccable tactics to go up 2-1. In the second match, on the first down wind leg, they didn’t get their foil all the way down and it caused an awful jibe while trailing by only a few meters heading into the downwind mark. They went on and got smoked by over a minute. Looks like the Kiwi’s have figured out the mainsail package for light winds. Tonight’s 2 matches will be awesome.
