The American Left once again paraded through the streets chanting “No Kings in America.”The historical self-own is almost too exquisite to behold. These are not the heirs of 1776. They are the spiritual descendants of the Loyalists who ran to Canada rather than live without a crown to worship or a throne to resent.
This piece is my answer.
I do the one thing their fevered minds fear most: I take their stupid, hysterical fantasy seriously. I crown Donald J. Trump. I let the thought experiment run. And then I cut it open with cold precision...exposing the raw psychological pathology, the grotesque projection, and the philosophical bankruptcy that fuels their derangement.
This is not polite analysis.
This is a lethal takedown of a political class so terrified of accountability that they must invent a king to hate, lest they be forced to confront the real throne that has ruled over this Republic for far too long: the unaccountable administrative state they themselves built and defend.
If you are tired of watching ahistorical simpletons desecrate the memory of the actual revolutionaries who risked everything to reject kingship, then read what follows. The Republic endures.

The concept of "teenager" is a modern invention.
For most of human history, a boy of 13 was already a man, apprenticed in a trade or fighting in a war.
George Washington was a professional surveyor at 16.
Alexander Hamilton managed a trading company at 14.
In medieval Europe, noble boys could be pages at 7 and squires by 14.
In Rome, a boy put on the "toga of manhood" at 14.
The idea that an 18 year-old is "still figuring things out" would have been incomprehensible to our ancestors.
I believe this is why we think teenagers are so troubled. They are men and women stuck in a society that treats them as children. Of course they are going to "rebel". We should give them more responsibility and expect much more of them.
