Also, why exactly is it closed? Have they actually sunk any tankers? They have no navy. Are they threatening mussle strikes, drone swarms? Is this real or a manufactured crisis? So much doesn't make any sense. Seems like more bullshit smoke and mirrors.

It’s not just fucking Thune. At all. And frankly I’m goddamn sick of hearing just his name dragged out like some lone villain while the rest of the Senate Republican caucus slithers into the shadows.
Every single fucking senator who refuses to stand up, cast the vote, and rip the gavel from his hands shares the blood on this betrayal. They know the rules cold...they’ve studied the filibuster’s chokehold, watched Reid and Schumer carve it open with surgical ruthlessness when it suited their side, and understand exactly how a simple majority could install new leadership tomorrow and force a talking filibuster or nuclear-option carve-outs to ram through the SAVE Act, border sovereignty, election integrity, and the rest of the Trump mandate.
Yet they choose paralysis.
This isn’t prudence. It’s a caucus-wide epidemic of institutional Stockholm syndrome fused with careerist gutlessness. These are men and women psychologically captured by the Senate club...addicted to the narcotic safety of committee gavels, “bipartisanship” theater, and the warm bath of never having to govern with the ferocity their voters demanded.
They fear primary challenges, Twitter mobs, and the raw exercise of power far more than they fear failing the country.
Vichy Republicans in bespoke suits, performing conservatism while the agenda suffocates under 60-vote theater they’re too cowardly to dismantle.
Thune is the visible symptom. The disease is systemic rot...every last one of them who sits on their hands and lets it fester.
They are not leaders. They are ornate obstacles.
Name them all. Demand they act with lethal will, or watch them be replaced. The polite theater is over. The American people are done waiting and we are fucking pissed off.
Tomorrow Governor Maura Healey will stand in Boston Common and demand no kings. The same governor who's buries over $364 million in fraud, blocks our audit, runs a secret dark money fund, frees 39 murderers, hires a drug trafficker with a criminal background, refuses to cut our income tax, and spends billions on illegal migrants without a single answer to any of us. No kings. Just the Queen of Hearts standing on a stage in Boston screaming off with their heads while we pay her $63 billion budget.
Canada may never have another Conservative government again. No, I’m not black pilling it. Everything is lining up to for the Conservatives to never win another Federal election, at least for the foreseeable future.
Right now, people are so frustrated and fed up with Canada, they’re leaving. The ones leaving aren’t the ones who vote Liberal. They’re the Conservatives who are tired of watching the Liberals absolutely destroy Canada.
Add to that the floods of people that the Liberals are bringing into Canada. Sorry. Not people. Liberal voters. This will help ensure the Liberals win elections for many terms to come.
This is what I predict the future of Canada will be. Endless Liberal governments until they are so successful at destroying us through immigration, that a Muslim Party is formed and they win a majority government, thus paving the way to sharia law in Canada.

The Berlin Wall created the most brutal controlled experiment in human history: identical people, split by ideology, watched for 41 years to see which system would prevail.
West Germans embraced market economics while East Germans suffered under socialist central planning. The results? Devastating. By 1989, East German GDP per capita sat at roughly 30% of West Germany's level. East Germans consumed 40% fewer calories, owned cars at one-tenth the rate, and waited 12 years for a telephone connection.
Meanwhile, their western cousins enjoyed rising living standards, technological innovation, and personal freedom that made West Germany an economic powerhouse.
But the socialists had excuses ready. "East Germany started from a worse position after the war," they claimed. Bullshit. Both regions faced identical devastation in 1945. The Soviets actually stripped more industrial equipment from their zone (roughly $10 billion worth), yet this affected rural areas less than urban centers. And East Germany possessed abundant natural resources like lignite coal and uranium that should have provided economic advantages.
The real difference? Property rights, price signals, and entrepreneurship versus state ownership, price controls, and bureaucratic allocation. West Germans could start businesses, invest capital, and respond to consumer demands. East Germans filled quotas set by party officials who had never run so much as a lemonade stand. You can't coordinate an economy through committee meetings and five-year plans when prices tell you nothing about real supply and demand.
East Germans voted with their feet—2.7 million fled west before the Communists built their wall in 1961. After reunification, investigators found Stasi files on one-third of the population. When you need secret police watching every third citizen, your economic system has already failed.
Got several farmer/rancher buds who've complained about this for years. Dealerships will still get their piece of the pie with the electronics and GPS related repairs. This allows farmers to do their. own general mechanical repairs.
They just can't fucking control themselves anywhere.

Been thinking the same thing. Is this a move to expose Europe’s coming collapse before it’s too late. Will a huge spike in energy prices get people to rise up and remigrate their country’s and oust the politicians who sold them out? Then introduce cheap new technologies that allow them to recovery economically quickly?
There is a bigger picture here, not sure exactly what the end game is, but certain there is one that has been planned and will play out. Looks like the western world is in for some, hopefully only short term, pain.

With those declining values, it may keep Californians who wanted to sell out for windfall profits from coming to Texas and elsewhere and still voting for idiots like the ones they voted for who forced them out of CA.
