About 30 years ago PETA wrote every pest control company a letter explaining how cruel it is to use glue boards to catch mice and rats on. It was inhumane they said. I wrote them back and told them I preferred using a shotgun but cites and homeowners objected. And that the hard part of using glue boards is holding the animal under the water in the toilet until the bubbles stopped rising.
Never heard back or got another letter.
