Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Sorry, I can't excuse the Braves on this one. They should refuse to take the field until the ruling is changed.

I seriously feel like we're living in a movie. I just can't comprehend how people think that showing an ID to vote is racist. They just passed a stimulus bill not long ago for around 2 trillion dollars. If there are so many people in the united states that don't have an ID, can't they find the funds to provide free licenses to all of the US citizens? I think that's really what this comes down to. They want to be able to cheat in the elections, and if ID's are checked, it will be much harder to do. But the news and media fail to call them out on it, because they're complicit. It's getting to the point where we may actually need a constitutional convention of states to fix this nonsense.

Not going to lie this news completely ruined my day. I live about 10 minutes from the stadium and was looking forward to the home run derby and hopefully trying to go to the game as well. Honestly still in a daze about the whole thing.

This is big. MLB is trying to influence the lawmakers of a state. And I hear Biden the Stooge is encouraging businesses to boycott Georgia. Stay strong, Georgia. I hope our lawmakers in Alabama aren’t too pussified to do the same thing.
