I figured out how to upload vids to a YouTube channel. It’s way EZ and then I can merge them to our media gallery. This was from last year at Yellowstone:

Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I’m going to a wedding in WY in June, taking the fam with me to go do Yellowstone and Jackson hole. The wife snd I have been before but this will be the kids first time.
We did the trip last year and it was great. Got us started on the family national park tour.
I’m sure you’ve heard about all the Yellowstone death stories...there’s some really good ones out there.

Aw man, I think there’s even a book on it all! But crazy deaths happen there every year from people just being dumbasses.
One guy’s dog jumped in a hot spring and he jumped in after him. Someone pulled him out with a stick and apparently his skin and muscle was just sliding off like a nice rack of ribs. Also his eyes were completely whited out. He died shortly afterwards.
there’s one story about a couple in the 60s that drove off the cliff of the little Grand Canyon.
another one about a Japanese guy trying to take a picture of a Buffalo and getting too close and the Buffalo attacking him...
