You can't include ( ) in the answer if there are no ( ) in the question.
It's not 5 + (3x2) = 11
It's 5 + 3 = 8 multiplied by 2 = 16

3*2 is 6 and 6+5 is 16?
I think the correct numerical values are assigned to the images. What I was doing was 5+3 = 8 and 8x2= 16.
If there is some order of operation requirement as someone suggested and it is necessary to multiply first (I have no idea on this) then it might be 3x2=6 and 6+5= 11.

You, like many before you, wood be incorrect.
I would argue that having a single shoe adds no value, so it should be assigned a 0 in the last line. Plus, the Chinaman (not the preferred nomenclature dude) doesn't have his whistle in the last picture, which makes him ineffective as a coach as well, so any number multiplied by 0 is 0, and then add the 0 for the single shoe, so your answer is zero.
