Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

We'll see soon I'm sure. I doubt he'll be fired, but you never know. My guess will be a strongly worded reprimand with a suspension attached. Could be the rest of the year, but I'm guessing it won't be. Maybe 3 games or something like that.
I would be for him not being fired if he actually had the other guy squaring up with him. Alas the big tough guy Howard decided to throw a cheap shot instead. He should be fired and would be if he were a white coach going after a black coach. Or any coach for that matter.

Can we get Beilein back? Crazy to go from a guy that some fans actually complained wasn't emotional enough to a guy who can't control his emotions. I was a fan of Howard, but I'm not sure how the program can rationalize keeping him. That one stupid decision could set the program back years.
