Sigh. I lost my facebook account with a unisex name - as I feel safer to traverse Facebook with a fake name as with the real name and profile pic (I.E, your portrait), someone else out there can use it against you to their advantage. Now my appeal has failed and I can't even contact Meta via email! And I can't even sign up for a new Facebook account with my same email address!

Worse, /rant on reddit now demands I have positive post and comment karma to post there!

Again, and above all, I NEED PEOPLE (LIVING THINGS) TO INTERACT WITH; NOT A BRICK WALL (INANIMATE OBJECT) LET ALONE A ROBOT OR AI!

In my opinion, I think the current options available to us, like FB/Meta, Reddit, X, TGram, Quora and etcetera, are all equally trash in their own particular way.

The only alternatives seem to be privately managed commercial forums, like TFSF is. Although, in my experience, unlike TFSF, it appears most privately managed forums aren't administered by reasonable individuals either.

But it was anything but a success on Instagram's sister site Threads. - As I now need customers.
