Installing a timer switch on a gas fireplace?

I put a turn knob timer on mine and works fine. I would assume this works the same. Just make sure it’s a single pole switch
Correct. But you should be able to peek and see behind the wall plate
That’s one of those that ticks though, right? That would drive Mrs 71 nuts.
If it's on a single pole breaker in the box, it's 110v
It’s going to be the switch for all the switches in that specific room
If it’s the bonus room then hit that switch

Didn’t try that one- will do it when I get home.
I was trying to figure out if the switch had some sort of other way of activating the FP without being on a circuit- was it some sort of special switch or something. I am a neophyte when it comes to electricity
Noooooo these are probably old baseboard heaters
it's a custom house that was built in 2017. Floor refers to the floor electrical outlets (I think)
I thought so also, that's why I recommended checking that breaker. Floor outlets aren't used often.
